Our story

About Rowan

A room tuned for good sound and better company.

Rowan is part kitchen, part bar, part record room. The food is compact and seasonal; the drinks are clean; the system is warm enough to make an old favorite sound new.

We play complete records at a conversational level. Phones stay welcome, flash does not, and the best seat may be the one closest to the speakers.

The kitchen serves until eleven. The bar keeps a tight list of house drinks, wine, beer, and serious zero-proof pours.

One record. Lights low. Doors closed.

Each Sunday at eight we dim the room and play one essential album at full listening level. A drink and late plate are included with every seat.
